World Osteoporosis Day

Bones are so important, and they are the essence of you as they hold you up.  Many don’t think of their bones until they become older, or they break or experience bone pain.  To maintain a healthy structure and the stability we require on a day-to-day basis we need to take care of our bones…

Bones provide support for our bodies and help them form our shape.  Although they are very light, bones are strong enough to support our entire weight.  Bones even protect the body’s organs, and the skull protects the brain and forms the shape of the face.

It is important to note that as early as the age of 35, bone mass deteriorates naturally and our bones become more and more porous, losing their stability and elasticity.  Bones may become brittle and if they are not able to absorb the appropriate nutrients may break and never provide the same level of support again.

Bones provide mineral and growth factor storage, triglyceride storage, blood cell formation and production.

Did you know that every day of our life some bone cells die and some new ones are created?  If our diet supplies the necessary nutrients, bone cells can be replaced by healthy cells, necessary to lengthen and strengthen our bones.

I encourage this regime for Healthy Bones

Calcium and Vitamin D are essential for your bones to be maintained and need to be serviced daily.  There are so many Calcium and Vitamin D formulas in the marketplace and my choice is always plant-based and this is because plant-based supplements are recognized by your body and are more bioavailable.

Comb U – a combination of 4 microdosed minerals to accelerate calcium absorption that are taken 4 times per day along with plant based Calcium and plant based Vitamin D3.

The reason I encourage plant based minerals and vitamins is that they are bioavailable and more easily absorbed by the body to support bone health along with a healthy diet with plenty of greens, fruit and protein.

Your bones need to be strengthened every day of your life through:

  1. Movement
  2. Healthy Diet
  3. Plant based supplements that are bioavailable
  4. Tissue Salts that regulate minerals at the cellular level.

Fall in love with your BONES today!
